The Cliffs of Moher reopened on the 18th of May 2020 for local people living in the local area within a 5-kilometre radius. The visitor centre remains closed, but local people living within 5-mile radius of the Cliffs can visit the area and go for a walk. Restriction remains in place because of the COV-ID 19 virus. Tourism has taken a large blow this year and visitors centre has seen a massive far in revenue and with this summer season looking very bad, it doesn’t look good for tourism this year in the west of Ireland or anywhere in Ireland.

Everybody is hopeful things will come back to normal soon and the ecomony will start to recover from this very difficult time.
