Once you are on-site at the Cliffs Of Moher visitor centre you have two options, one on the ground floor, which is a cafe and the other on the first floor, which has a full bistro-style foods and hot meals.

The food is good in either place, you will get a good meal. Please see our Food and Drink Clare page for other pubs and restaurants to eat close to the cliffs in our drop-down menu.

Cafe on Ground Level

There is a coffee bar at the Cliffs of Moher is on the ground floor of the Visitor centre as you walk in the front door of the Visitor Centre, this food area is to your left-hand side. There is a seating area in the coffee bar. The Cliffs of Moher cafe offers a range of Irish food from hot drinks, like tea and coffee. Sandwiches and wraps are available. Irish snacks and fruit are also on offer. They sell ice cream, the ice cream is very good here. The cafe can be quite busy during peak periods. The coffee is quite good also.

The Cliff’s View Cafe

The Cliffs View Cafe is situated on the second floor in the visitor centre. You will enjoy stunning views of the cliffs. The restaurant sources a lot of local produce from County Clare. This creates a delicious menu to choose from. There is some good Irish food on offer at the Cliffs of Moher.There is ice cream on offer. There’s also delicious hot chocolate for those cold days, to warm you up.

The area seats 120 people. You can choose from sandwiches, fresh soups, and lots of different types of snacks. If you need something a bit more filling, there is a hot food section with plenty of hot meals to choose. They source local produce meats, vegetables, dairy products all from local producers. If you have a special dietary requirement, the staff will assist you. They are vegetarian dishes and gluten-free options.

During the busy periods from May to September which is peak season at the Cliffs of Moher, the cafe doesn’t take bookings. From October to April they will do there best to accommodate you if they can. They can accommodate groups but it depends on the size and availability of seating.
